Our Story
ACDC is a private research and development company, born through the innovative mind of Thomas Baldacchino. Thomas combined his materials science expertise and leveraged it utilising AI to create a lightweight semi solid state nickel iron battery with a cycle life exceeding that of lithium ion
We are currently at TRL 3, working with Flinders University in Adelaide to develop and validate our technology. Our patent-pending methods aim to match current performance standards while being safer and less reliant on critical minerals. We focus on prismatic, pouch, or agnostic formations. Our goal is to achieve MVP level and gather performance data for potential customers, with the next step being to lab line our production process.
